Getting help
Email [email protected] and you will get a reply from the person who wrote the app. Include your iPhone model and iOS version if something is broken, and the steps that led to it if you can retrace them.

Where is my data?
On your phone, and only on your phone. There is no account and no server. See the privacy policy for the long version.
How do I get my data back if I delete the app?
You do not. Deleting the app deletes its database, and there is no copy anywhere else to restore from. An iCloud or computer backup taken before you deleted it is the only route.
Does the other person know I am tracking them?
Only if you tell them. Alerts go to the people you choose to alert, never to the person being tracked.
Why did my alert not send?
Alerts open the standard iOS message composer with the text already filled in, and nothing goes out until you tap send. If the composer never appeared, the person you were alerting probably has no phone number saved — their row in Settings will show a "No contact" badge.
